Private classes are available by appointment

Private yoga instruction is recommended for all levels. Each session is specifically designed to fit the individual or groups needs. It can include any combination of physical yoga postures (asanas), breathing (pranayama) and/or meditation depending on what suits you.

A private session is particularly helpful for new students getting comfortable with the basic postures and orienting to the overall atmosphere of a yoga class.

Anyone interested in elevating their ongoing practice or developing a home practice is also supported by private instruction. Emphasis is on understanding and exploring the alignment and nuances of each posture and learning how to build your own sequence.

Gather a group of 3-5 friends together and schedule a regular class. Practicing with friends in a supportive and comfortable environment creates an opportunity to deepen your practice and your friendships.

6 month series meeting once a month for one hour

Reduce stress and anxiety by cultivating a deep full natural breath. The breath is always available to us and is one of the best ways to relax the body and mind; unfortunately most of us are taking short shallow breaths which cause tension. To reverse this pattern and encourage deep breathing we will practice exercises that open up the breath and strengthen the breathing muscles. We will also spend some time taking a look at our breathing patterns and identifying tools to help us shift out of patterns that cause strain and shift into relaxed breathing. You will leave with several gentle yet powerful techniques to help you use your breath to mange stress naturally.

The mental and physical patterns that stand in the way of relaxed breathing have likely been active for years and years; so it will take some time and focused attention to shift into an open breath. The 6 month program allows the space and support needed to retrain the body and mind and realize significant benefits.
